Maintaining Torque

Achieving and maintaining proper torque is a critical component of rim performance. It is essential in preventing rim slippage and other torque related problems. RIMEX manufactures machined clamps which provide 100% surface contact with our machined gutter face. RIMEX spacer bands are fully machined with ‘integral' locating collars machined into the inner profile. These collars prevent the spacer band from falling down under the gutter of the rim. The spacer is perfectly matched to the machined rim face, helping to maintain torque. RIMEX studs are manufactured to a consistent high quality. Heat treatment, followed by a rolled thread process, provides good mechanical characteristics and allows you to achieve and maintain proper wheel torque and payload.
