Built for Stress

The MES series is built to handle the 75% increase in stress transferred to the wheel base by radial tires as compared to conventional bias tires. The true roundness achieved by custom machining creates a stronger wheel with a uniform tire bead seal as well as better flange, bead seat band and lock ring fitment. These special features produce higher safety factors as well as longer life for both rims and tires.

The exciting new generation TSR Series is designed to provide even more advanced rim life by virtually eliminating flange movement. The TSR design offers extended tire life through a superior ability to stabilize the bead and sidewall of the tire. Similar to the MES Series, the machined surface of the TSR Series eliminates air leakage for more consistent tire performance, while retaining the strength and endurance that has made RIMEX™ a superior product.

Manufacturing Flexibility That Delivers Top Results

RIMEX™ has developed a unique manufacturing process - forming through machining - that allows total flexibility in manufacturing and the ability to develop custom products for all major trucks on the market today.

First, we take special high quality steel plate and burn it into custom sized strip widths and thickness. These strips form the beginnings of various sections including backs, gutters, center-bands, bead seat bands and flanges. The strips are then precision cold rolled in preparation for forming. In the machine shop, these components come to life in the hands of RIMEX™ specialists who assemble the formed components into complete wheels and rims, using advanced welding techniques.
