INTEGRAL GUTTER LOCK RING (IGLR) SERIES

Similar position sensitive concept to the DGS Series but designed for the inner wheel and steer positions. IGLR combined with DGS provides exceptionally quick and safe tire changes from all positions.

In the search to make tire fitting even easier, RIMEX has designed the IGLR to complement the DGS (Double Gutter Series) concept of outside tire removal. The IGLR also uses an extra bead band and o-ring; though differs from the DGS in that it is used on inner dual and steer positions only.

So as well as the usual benefits of the DGS configuration:

· Reduced labour
· Quicker and easier tire changes
· No need to remove the studs, nuts, clamps & spacers
· Less retorques - if any
· Components, including the wheel motor, stay in place extending life of parts
· Tires are stored with components installed
· Tire handling is easier and safer as one only needs to move tire

So as well as the usual benefits of the DGS configuration:

· All tires are interchangeable between every position
· No need to remove or add components during a tire change or rotation
· Eliminates need to break inside bead
· Use of hydraulic rams and pumps eliminated during removal of tire from machine

The end result is an even safer, easier tire changing procedure that gives the customer greater productivity and reduced downtime.
